November started out like an airplane ride through a storm. "Ladies and Gentlemen, we are experiencing turbulent weather. Please remain seated and fasten your seatbelts." The polite way of saying "People hang on and get prayed up just in case we go down."
So we buckled in and put our air masks on.
We have had an exciting month and we have enjoyed ourselves. The first week of November my brother and his wife came up to visit us. They brought my mom (Memaw) and their dog Rocky with them. We really enjoyed their stay and hope they don't wait so long before they come back to visit us again. Thanks guys for coming up.So we buckled in and put our air masks on.
Next came "mini" convention. The only thing mini about it was the kids. There were so many kids and schools there... Our school did very well. Trenten went in checkers, quiz bowl, pupets, and small ensemble. They place in every thing except quiz bowl. It was exciting for the kids and we were excited to see them learning to use and develope talent that the Lord gave them.
This is a picture of my buddy Sam admiring a medal that his brother Charlie got. Sam is going to be old enough to compete next year and I think he is pretty excited. (lol)
These are all of Trenten's awards and as you can see he was pretty proud of them. It was a good year and I am building up strength and endurence because next year we will have two boys to follow around.
