One night at bedtime we were talking to Michael about how proud we were of him... and how
big he was getting. His fifth birthday was coming up very soon. He said to us, " When I grow up I
want to marry Aunt Sue." He paused a minute and then very seriously said, "And Mommy you
could be the grandfather."

Michael has one particular saying that he says all the time. Ty has a whistle and it's his favorite toy. He almost always has a constant noise out of that whistle and it gets to be too much. Michael busts out with a very disgusted " PUT A CORKLE IN IT!"
--- Trenten had his fundraiser book at church selling stuff for school in Cedar and he asked Danella Joslin if she would look at his book. She told him she didn't have any money He looked at her and said very sweetly, "If you took your shampoo out you could put some money in there!"
--- Trenten was having another fundraiser. This time he was selling flower seeds. So he talked to Memaw on the phone and asked her to buy something and she said she would; so I got on the phone to explain what kind of things he was selling. She decided what to buy and later I told him, "Memaw said she would buy some tulips." He got the funniest look on his face and said, "What? She wants two lips?

When Ty was 2 yrs old, he would get very upset if anyone got a spanking. He would go up to whoever got he spanking and put his face inches away from their face and say,
"Otay? Otay?"
And if Mommy gave the spanking you would run
to Dad and say, "Dad! Dad! Mommy spanking Bubby!"
You have know idea how hard it was to be serious and explain
the importance of chosing the right way to behave if a
cute little man is in the offenders face saying, "Otay?
Otay?"I very often lost that battle. Trenten and Michael
didn't mind though.

I was spanking Michael for some naughty thing he'd done.Ty leaned arround his butt and got right up in my face and said in a very threatening manner,
"I tell Nana."

So today I walked into your bedroom and you were sitting on the edge of
your bed with two pairs of underware. I said "what are you doing? Are you
finding some comfy clothes?" And you held up one pair of underware and
said " These ones stinks. I tooted in them."

These are just some of them; but these are my favorite stories. My little boys are growing up.
