Tyrell's Special Day

As you know, Tyrell is getting ready to start school this year. So the tradition says that on the day that you go to get your booster shots, Mom and the boy go to the doctor together. If you're brave, then you get to pick where we eat for lunch. Any restaurant of their choice.
Trenten chose Taco Bell. Michael chose Taco Bell.

So here Tyrell is having his hearing test. He had to clap his hands whenever he heard a beep. After the hearing test he passed his vision test. Then as the nurse left she told Tyrell he had to take off his shirt and pants. So we talked about it for a minute and I said Dr. Rao would be in any minute. He curled up on the bench and I thought it was so cute. He covered up with that book. By the time the doctor came in he was a little bit looser in that he wasn't hiding under the book. He didn't think it was quite as funny as I did. When Dr. Rao left before the door closed she said, "Can I get some shots in here?" Ty said, Guh!
We got dreesed and sat there waiting. The nurses came and went. We were waiting for our walking orders, Ty looked at me and said, so seriously, "Where's the big needle?" I said, "you're all done!" He says, "I am? But... what part was the needle? Was it the plastic part or the metal part?" So I told him the part that poked in his arm was the needle. He looked at me and smiled really big. Then he said, "I didn't even cry!"
