I was recently asked to work in the upper learning center for 30 minutes; and while I was in there I got to thinking. I wondered how many differences I could come up with. So I thought I would try.
Lower Learning Center
- There is a never ending supply of raised flags.
- Kids say "I need to go potty."
- During work time when you turn around you may have 2 or 3 kids standing behind you, holding up a PACE.
- Kids will tap tap tap you on your arm until you finally look at them.
- Kids will sneeze brazenly into the air with no attempt to cover and wipe their hands on their
clothes.
- Kids will raise their flag to say their verse after only having read over it once, knowing they
only know the first word.
- Kids will skip the reading parts of their PACE and start answering questions and "read" as
they go along; then raise their flag and wait. When the teacher answers the flag the firmly
state that the answer is "NOT here."
- Have to tell on each other for things someone "is going to do" not just to one teacher. They tell each teacher individually to be sure the someone gets into enough trouble.
- Talks openly at the score table.
Upper Learning Center (all girls)
- Raised flags are few and far between
- Kids ask to "go to the restroom."
- During work time most will stay in their seat.
- Kids will stand impatiently and wait for you to get to them.
- Kids will risk a brain aneurysm to try a dainty sneeze
- Kids will try to learn their verse in parts and hope for a few clues.
- Kids will read the first question and the read until they come to the answer and then read the
next question.
- Have drama issues.
- Tries to talk at the score table discreetly.

Cute! Did you miss Sam for your whole 30 minute absence?:0 Sorry, couldn't resist.
Yes I have missed him. He is visiting Florida. He isn't the only excitement we have in our LC!
